Davisson Entertainment presents the first annual PHX Vegan Food Festival on Saturday, Feb. 27 at the Phoenix Theatre and Phoenix Art Museum campus. The outdoor, family-friendly festival will be held from noon to 5 p.m., with one-hour early entrance for VIP ticket holders. Event highlights include vegan food trucks and restaurants, vegan-friendly food and products, demonstrations and presentations by chefs and vegan experts, plus a kids’ activity area. There will also be a cash bar and two entertainment stages featuring a full day of live music.
“We created the PHX Vegan Food Festival to bring together the community and create more awareness and excitement for the vegan lifestyle. The event shines the spotlight on local businesses so they can showcase their menus and products to an audience that is hungry for more options. It’s also a great opportunity for those interested in adopting a vegan diet the chance to explore the many choices that are available in the Valley,” said Davisson Entertainment’s Founder, Daniel Davisson.
The PHX Vegan Food Festival will feature some of the state’s favorite vegan restaurants and food trucks and vegan-friendly vendors. Guests will enjoy small bite samples from vegan restaurants, plus food and beverage artisans. They will also have the option to purchase selections from these businesses, as well as a variety of vegan food trucks. In addition, local vendors will be showcasing and selling their vegan-friendly offerings, including cooking products, cookbooks, body care items, and clothing and accessories, to name a few. There will also be cooking demonstrations and discussions by culinary and nutrition experts. Highlights include Chefs Jason Wyrick and Madelyn Pryor of The Vegan Taste, and Will Tucker, owner of Will Tucker Fitness and International Federation of Physique Athletes (IFPA) Pro.
General admission is $25 and includes access to entertainment, one drink token, plus small bite tastings from restaurants and food vendors. VIP admission is $60 and includes access to entertainment, two drink tokens, small bite tastings, one-hour early entry, a meet and greet with Chefs Jason Wyrick and Madelyn Pryor of The Vegan Taste, plus a take home souvenir.
